25 July: The Kabbalist Today: Living in the Here and Now, with Adam Simmonds

Kabbalah is the mystical teaching that underlies Western spiritual tradition.  Based on the principles of the Tree of Life, it is an ancient teaching that offers a pathway to personal growth and self-knowledge.

By understanding our place in the universe, we aim to find greater purpose in our lives and, thereby, a greater sense of peace within ourselves and with the world around us.

Each session will explore a different aspect of the age-old questions, Who am I, and What am I doing here?

The course tutor, Adam Simmonds, has been studying Kabbalah for more than 30 years. A retired school teacher, he has presented talks and workshops on Kabbalah in both the UK and Spain. He recently discovered the art of blogging, and his Kabbalah blog site can be found at www.spiritofkabbalah.wordpress.com

“Adam Simmonds is a wise and witty teacher of the Perennial Wisdom Tradition. His work is sound, practical and beautifully presented.” Maggy Whitehouse, author of Total Kabbalah and The Illustrated History of Kabbalah.
