Uniting Worlds – Talk – London – May-7-2017

March 28th, 2017

May 7th 2017
2.30 – 4.30

Alison Roberts

Kabbalah and alchemy are closely linked in the Western tradition, and drawing on alchemy’s rich symbolic imagery this illustrated talk will explore the Hermetic ‘royal art’ and the unifying principles underlying its three worlds. Deeply rooted in all natural, living processes, this quest for the Philosophers’ Stone comes from the Egyptian temples, as alchemists have always said, a healing and transforming soul wisdom that can still speak to us today.

Dr. Alison Roberts studied ancient Egyptian and Akkadian languages at Oxford University, and holds a D.Phil. in Egyptology. She has a deep interest in ancient Egyptian spirituality, the Feminine and alchemy, is the author of three books and is currently writing on Egyptian alchemy and the Book of Life.
