Kabbalah and Exodus, Madrid, Spain, June 14-15 2014

How can the idea of slavery and freedom be made real? How is the Exodus journey relevant to life now?

The biblical story of Exodus, when understood allegorically, as in Z’ev Ben Shimon Halevi’s book, is is an account of the soul’s journey from the limitations of the ego, constrained by instincts and conditioning, to the individuality of Self and the vision of the transpersonal world.

It describes the interior stages of resistance, conflict, discipline, and breakthrough together with the workings of providence and timing along the way.

During the two days we shall examine the story of Exodus, applying the principles of the Tree of Life, using contemplation, ritual and meditation to gain insight into the relevance of the journey in everyday life.
