The Summer School begins the first evening with a presentation on the history and principles of Kabbalah.
The next day starts with a demonstration on the unfolding of Existence and the kabbalistic Tree of Life. Then comes a session on the four interacting Worlds of Emanation, Creation, Formation and Action of Jacob’s Ladder and its inhabitants, including a visit to the local wood to experience the etheric aspect of Nature. The afternoon session considers the levels of humanity and the anatomy of the individual psyche. Further insights can be gained in the evening meditation on the symbolic House of the Psyche.
The following day begins with a study of the Four Journeys. The First Journey is the descent from the Divine into the realms of the spirit, soul and body. The Second Journey is the karmic wheel of life, death and rebirth, while the Third Journey is about aiding evolution. The Fourth Journey is the ultimate return to the Divine source. Kabbalistic astrology is then applied to our fate and destiny, and later in the “Chair Tree” ritual we act out the path of development. A session on schools of the soul comes next, followed in the evening by a meditation on the inner “Temple School”.
The last morning sets out the higher Worlds of Paradise, Heavens and the Divine realm. The final session is a deep meditational journey of the Pilgrim’s Way to the Heavenly Jerusalem accompanied by our inner teachers. This experience concludes the Summer School. After lunch we depart and return home.
The format of each day is the same. Breakfast is at 8.30am, the first session at 9.30am, coffee at 11.00am, the next session at 11.30am lunch at 1.00pm. The afternoon is free for solitude, socialising or exploring the local area. Tea is at 4.00pm, the afternoon session at 4.30pm and supper at 6.30pm. The last session is from 8.00pm to 9.15 pm. The rest of the evening is free time for refreshments.
