This four day course is an intensive progression of theory and practice that sets out to give reality to the doctrine of the four worlds of Action, Formation, Creation and Emanation.  Each day is a balance of study and reflection with an afternoon break for solitude, rest, socializing or excursions.  As each level is experienced, so an integration will occur leading to a culminating exercise designed to synthesize the week's work.

The four day course begins with a slide show in the evening on the general history, principles and practices of Kabbalah.

The first session of the morning is devoted to setting out the cosmic scheme of Kabbalah with its four interpenetrating worlds and their natural and supernatural inhabitants.  This is followed by two ritual sessions that relate metaphysics to direct experiences of the archetypal Divine realm and the process of psychological and spiritual evolution.  In the evening there is a slide show on Jacob's Ladder of Existence.

The second day starts with the contemplation of Nature as the basis of material reality and an excursion into a nearby wild wood to make contact with the elementals.  This is followed by a detailed study of the body and psyche and their interaction.  After tea there will be an interior exercise called the House of the Psyche, which will explore the mind.  In the evening fate, destiny and Astrology will be related to Kabbalah.

The third day is concerned with schools of the soul and their history to illustrate how all have the same aim of developing individuals and creating civilisation.  This is followed by the study of the structure and dynamics of the Tree of an esoteric organisation.  The next session is an inner exercise to visit a Temple School. The day ends with a contemplation of the various levels of mankind from the living dead to the most enlightened of humanity that gives an overview of our individual and collective purpose.

The final morning commences with an interior pilgrimage from one's home through various stages of life and beyond to the Heavenly Jerusalem, in which one is taken by one's guardian guide to the Celestial Temple.  The last session of the course is devoted to feedback and questions, before lunch and departure.

The format of each day is the same. The morning session beginning at 9.30 am after breakfast, has a coffee break at 11.00 a.m. After lunch at 1.00 p.m., the afternoon is free for solitude, socialising, exploring the countryside or sightseeing. The third sessions begin after 4 o’clock tea, whilst the last meeting after supper finishes around 9.15 pm.

The price includes bed and board in the atmosphere of an old English country mansion overlooking a magnificent view in which the distant mountains of Wales can be seen. Nearby is the market town of Stroud and the beautiful village of Painswick. While the course is intense, it also has the quality of a holiday in good company.  Here enduring friendships are forged between people from many lands who join our school of the soul.
