KABBALAH SOCIETY
SUNDAY WORKSHOPS IN LONDON 2007

Conducted by
Z’ev ben Shimon Halevi
(Warren Kenton)

22nd April 2007
Introduction to Kabbalah
First comes the exposition of the general history of the tradition. This will be followed by an outline of its basic principles, metaphysics and practices. Using ancient, medieval and modern images, an overall impression of the mystical aspects of Judaism is presented in its essential form so as to be intelligible for our generation. The second session will be an interior journey to the Heavenly Jerusalem.

17th June 2007
Kabbalah and Psychology
Using the Kabbalistic Tree of Life diagram, we will first examine ancient and modern views of the psyche. The various levels and balances of the body, ego and self will be set out along with the triads of memory, emotional and intellectual complexes. These will be related to the soul and spirit on the central axis of consciousness, which is crowned by the Higher Self. After the theory comes an inner exercise called the House of the Psyche.

9th September 2007
Kabbalah and Astrology
Here, two ancient systems and the modern view of the mind are seen to express the character of the individual born at a particular moment and place. While conditioning is taken into account, the essential nature of a person, according to esoteric tradition, is the main factor. However, free will is the crucial determinant as regards fate and destiny. The latter part of the afternoon will be devoted to examining the birth charts of people who have brought them along.

11th November 2007
Kabbalah and Schools of the Soul
Initially the structure, dynamics and methods of an esoteric school are laid out according to the principles of the Kabbalah. The modes of training, initiation and progress will be shown together with how a school operates. We will also examine the spiritual hierarchy that watches over the evolution of humanity as well as the individual. In the final part of the workshop we will visit, through a deep meditation, a school of the soul.
